- 微软今发布Windows 7 Beta 正式版未必提前
1月9日消息，据国外媒体报道，微软CEO史蒂夫·鲍尔默(Steve Ballmer)日前在消费电子展(CES)上发表主题演讲时透露，Windows 7的开发工作已接近尾声，本周五将发布Beta版本。
鲍尔默称，Windows 7的开发工作已接近尾声，本周五将发布Beat版，供广大用户下载测试。至于Windows 7正式版发布日期，鲍尔默并未说明。
但微软Windows部门高管比尔·维特(Bill Veghte)周三表示，微软已经告知PC厂商，不能保证在今年圣诞节前夕发布Windows 7。
维特说：“我们已经通知PC厂商，Windows 7可能在圣诞节前夕发布，但也有可能不发布。只有达到我们的质量要求，Windows 7才会发布�！�
微软一直表示，Windows 7将在Windows Vista上市后的3年内发布。因此，业内普遍认为Windows 7的上市日期是2009年底或2010年初。但有消息称，微软很可能赶在圣诞节购物旺季到来前推出Windows 7�！�(友亚)
